In the Anchor Missionary Church Leadership it is more like “Unsightly dividing of the brethren by twisting the Word with lies.” Why unsightly? In a spiritual sense there are crippled and maimed bleeding Christians and their children, divided from their families strewn along the path of the leaders of Anchor. There are their own husbands and wives , children and stepchildren ,left in the wake of the Pastors Bill Keef and Ardith Keef. There are whole churches these wolves in sheeps clothing have splintered, whole Christian missionary families that have been divided, children divided from their siblings, homes broken up, because of the false and twisted teachings of Ardith Keef.
As a new Christian Ardith Keef was heavily involved with Carl Steven’s ,and the Bible Speaks Ministries here in Maine. All one has to do is google “Carl Stevens abusive church ” or something of that nature to get story after story of the same kinds of divisive church problems as Anchor Missionary Fellowship has been involved in. The ministry of Carl Stevens was known for Pastors running away with peoples wives and split ups of the homes etc. etc. The Fruit of the Anchor Church is identical. Ardith Keef has been married 5 or 6 times. Three times to still living Christian men. Pastor Keef left his own wife and family to follow in Ardith’sbrand of ”truth.” Any christian who “rightly divided the Word of God” would not still be a leader of any kind in the church because leaders can not be divorced. The Bible is very clear on this.
Anyone who rightly divided the Word of God would not take fellow believers to court. Anyone who rightly divided the Word of God would not promote divorce without scriptural grounds. Anyone who rightly divided the Word of God would not purposely keep young siblings apart. Anyone who rightly divided the Word of God would be merciful and compassionate. Anyone who rightly divided the Word of God would stand up to questionings and criticisms with humility and honesty. Anyone who rightly divided the Word of God would do everything possible to keep a Christian family together, as The Word says, “What God has yoked together , let no man put assunder!”
No this is not a faithful, obedient, true to the Word of God’s standards ,kind of leadership. It is a rogue, fly by the seat of the pants, make up their own rules as they go along leadership. It has become more and more cult like over the years as their past sin has not been addressed and they commit abuse after abuse against innocent people. There is no help unless they repent, turn away from their spiritually and emotionally abusive behaviors , and turn humbly to our Merciful Lord of Truth. Then perhaps He will heal their land and help them see to “Rightly Divide His Word of Truth.”
